  • Big Screen TV under the picnic shelter with OHV videos from Yamaha of Southern Illinois

SATURDAY

  • Event Registration starts at 7:00 a.m.  Events start after 8:00 a.m.

    Events as follows:

  1. Obstacle / Handling Course

  2. Balance Beam

  3. Off Camber Water Climb (Involves water pit, small hill, and angled pallets)

  4. Blindfolded Barrel Race.  (Driver blindfolded and passenger guides driver)

  5. Water balloon race

  6. Guided Trail Ride after awards.

SUNDAY

  1. 18 MILE POKER RUN

2006 EVENTS

2006 "Big Dawg Enduro" is October 8th. 

LEOR will be hosting the third "BIG DAWG ENDURO on October 8, 2006

The club grounds will be closed for regular day riding.

This is a  AMA District 17 and 15 Enduro.  Points will be given for district 15 and 17.

A district AMA card is required.  A neighboring district card will work.  Following is a list of details for entrants:

  1. This will be a closed course enduro. Street legal not required.

  2. Sign-in will open at 7:30 AM.  Riders meeting at 9:30. Key time at 10:00 AM

  3. $35 entry fee.   $5 of this goes to the state OHV Fund

  4. $5 Gate Fee

  6. Camping available at LEOR.

 LEOR will be closed to public riding on this day.

 

 

100 miles of Crab Orchard 

Will post complete times and details as I get them or call LEOR at 618-982-2992

Objective:
Get a group of friends together and see how long it takes to ride 100 miles.
Reason:
Mainly for FUN and a good cause. Proceeds to be donated to charity.

Rules:

$10 Entry Fee per rider, donations accepted.

Start TBA Was 10:00 a.m. in 2005

Finish TBA

Teams can be made up of any number of riders.

Team members can ride there own machines or share with other team members.

Separate courses for motorcycles and quads. Courses will be 5 to 7 miles in length.

Teams encouraged to have sponsors that will aid the cause.

Team that has completed the most laps in 12 hours will be declared the winner.

Separate winners for bikes and quads.

Teams can decide what member rides the most laps.

Ironman class for those who dare.

COME OUT AND RIDE, HAVE FUN AND RAISE MONEY FOR Charity!

 
Trophies:
Each class winner(team) will have their picture taken and put on a trophy to be displayed at the building at LEOR.
 
Start:
The first rider of each team will start on the arrowed course at the minute past 10 AM Saturday in regards to the order at which the team entry was turned in. 
 Lap times will be kept and start time will be factored in when finished.
 
Sign up:
Call the LEOR staff (618)982-2992 during operating hours Saturday and Sunday prior to the event start on September 3rd. Tell Tim the team name and then have the first rider scheduled to ride at the start. As team members come in throughout the day we will sign them in. 
 
 
 INFO:
This event is not a head to head competition. It is for fun only and is intended to allow a person to see how long they can ride while raising some money for a great cause.

LEOR  TRIALS DAYS

August 12 &13

On Saturday, August 12,  Six Time National Trials Champ Ryan Young will be Conducting a Trials Riding school.  If you are interested in learning about observed trials call LEOR and get scheduled to take the class. Admission is $40.

Also at 5:00 on Saturday, Ryan will do a trials demonstration in a special area at the LEOR Riding area.  Free admission for spectators on Saturday afternoon to watch a champion perform amazing tricks and feats on a trials motorcycle.

Sunday, August 13th, we will have a M.I.T.A. Trials meet.  Come to LEOR and watch several classes of riders compete in a trials meet.

2005  Ol' Dawg" AHRMA National Cross Country

  May 7, 2005

Schedule:

Vintage.....8:30 am Parade Lap     9:00 am Vintage Race

Course will be 4-5 miles

Post-Vintage....11:00 am or 1 hour after Vintage. 

Course is planned to be 7-8 miles.

Camping is allowed and everyone needs to plan on riding after the event.  Bring family, kids, etc. and enjoy the trails after the racing
